RECAP & ANALYSIS:  The expedition begins aboard a topless school bus, the roof of which has been cut away exposing passengers to the elements as they’re about to embark upon the ride of a lifetime!  Several buses are in operation to haul customers into The Hollow – ours was called “Reaper!”  Our maniacal driver was accompanied by a strange aide named “Creeper,” wearing a coconut bra, and whose job it was to keep order throughout the experience, and to make sure patrons remain seated and keep their arms inside the bus the entire time.

Additional details pertaining to the sights, sounds, and scares transpiring during the haunt itself are not being disclosed per the owner’s request, but suffice it to say that many consider The Wilmington Haunted Hollow Ride to be the most legitimate scare the industry has to offer!  Every Halloween season, the Clinton County woods come alive with this one-of-a-kind school bus ride that's injected fear into the hearts of locals since its inception.  It's the talk of the town - an unduplicated haunted adventure that scare-seekers crave to see for themselves, many of whom return year after year for a repeat performance!  Some travel long distances.  They come from other states, even other countries to see what all the hype is about!  Lines start building outside the ticket booth HOURS before the attraction even opens!   Scenes have been expanded upon and spruced up through the years, but let's face it, what people come to see - the stars of the show are the flame-belching, horn-honking, Fire Breathing Semis!

Three secondary, walk-through attractions are also on site to compliment the main event.  Slaughter Hotel (7 minutes/8 actors), Eville Asylum (10½ minutes/6 actors), and Terror in the Dark (14 minutes/5 actors) can be enjoyed along with The Ride as part of their 4-haunt combo ticket, which costs $40 ($60 VIP).  For those just wishing to enter The Haunted Hollow, ride tickets are available for $25.  Food trucks are selling tasty treats nightly as well.  Credit cards are not accepted, but they do offer an ATM for your convenience.  Get there early and enjoy an entire night of unique Halloween entertainment at Wilmington's Haunted Hollow!  Definitely add this one to your list!  You don't want to miss it!
