RECAP:  An elaborately dressed she-devil demands to know your most intimate secret in order to provide you with a token that’s going to be needed at some point during the adventure that lies ahead. Ascending a metal staircase and knocking on the door three times per the aforementioned succubus’ instructions, the event is entered discovering a variety of pneumatic startles and flickering lights that repeatedly blink off and on for practically the duration of the experience.  Two floors of terror are explored ranging from skeletons, to demons, to possessed dolls, to giant rats.  Early on, a demented priest insists upon a confession from a sinful patron inside a private booth, which leads to a group separation segment.  Other scenes include an eerie cemetery comprised of unique tombstones that give rise to pop-up monsters and slide-down panel surprises; a deranged janitor hanging a helpless victim upside down above a toilet, then dropping his head for a water-spraying swirly; and a captive about to be put to death begging for help (more on this later)!

Top notch décor is on display, as walkways appear to be falling apart and brick walls give the appearance that they’re about to come crumbling down!  More scares originate from bloody heads falling into the path; a shrinking, claustrophobic hallway; and an outstanding scene featuring a satanic non hosting a mysterious, candle-lit church ceremony  that climaxes with an enormously-winged gargoyle-like, “Demon Shock” attack, and requires the coin provided prior to entering the attraction for escape.

One final confrontation takes place courtesy of the previously mentioned captive that was crying out for help who reappears upset that he wasn’t given assistance, calls you by name, and accusingly wonders why, “You left me to die in here!” and “Why didn’t you help me?”  Infernum  in Terra – Hell on Earth then cleverly exits into the gift shop.

ANALYSIS:  Infernum, utilizes a variety of unique, mechanical props, and custom-masks! She-devil had awesome make up, which created a very scary beginning and set the stage for what was about to transpire.  Stand out characters include priest, janitor, captive, nun, and “Demon Shock!”  Group separation is a seldom seen tactic by today’s standards, but it’s always responsible for a powerfully intimidating scare, and Infernum in Terra executes it to perfection!  Moreover, they obtain your names and shout them out at just the right times once again intensifying any given fright.  Also loved the falling heads, candle-lit ceremony, interactive use of the token that ingeniously ties the beginning into the grand finale, and captive reappearing near the end to torment those who failed to save him and condemned him to death!  Soundtrack is one of the best as well – loud and complimentary to go along with the flickering lights, which combine to set a quite spooky mood!  Gift shop sells unique masks, props and t-shirts.  OVH highly recommends visiting this attraction!  You won’t be disappointed!
