RECAPThe town of Bravado features a couple of old saloons, a pair of restaurants, an occult room, and a variety of other novelty stores.  Surprises arise throughout the streets of the old western themed village taking the form of a fire that mysteriously erupts inside the county jail; loud gun shots piercing the surrounding darkness; and the mayor himself conducting the hanging of an evil, spell-casting witch right in the middle of town for all to see!  Bracelet wearers may be accosted and assaulted at any time – detained, abused, chained, locked in shackles, and perhaps even buried alive!  This season finds the witches of Long Hall taking over the town of Bravado!

The trail itself features numerous insulting attacks where visitors are imprisoned, made to crawl, roll around in mud like a pig, ambushed by redneck cannibals, and forced to ingest unknown substances!  The excursion passes through a demented Asylum that houses a wicked electrocution; the Morgue in the midst of an autopsy-like experiment being conducted by a most irate and unwelcoming Pathologist; and an unrighteous ceremony taking place inside a witch’s hut just to name a few before climaxing inside The Church!  There, it’s revealed that witches have taken over the cathedral and The Profit is being held captive, or so the story goes.

ANALYSIS:  The trail is a lengthy experience which could be enhanced by an appropriate soundtrack. Best scenes and experiences include the Morgue, torture area, cannibalistic family, and Asylum.  Best acting goes to the roaming characters especially The Mayor and “Pockets,” who always has something up his sleeve, and the Morgue Pathologist earns honorable mention for his surprise scare!

New for 2023 is the "Blue Skull" experience, which is aimed exclusively at horror enthusiasts who want to be involved in even more extreme scares.  These challenging, merciless scares of a lifetime, known as The Acolyte Initiation, subjects participants to the most terrifying demons, creatures, and cryptids in existence, while leaving them with only two choices – persist and continue or tap out!  This intense torture tests your limits of sufferance and endurance, and is only available at Terror Town!  (Blue Skull dates:  September 8 & October 12, 2023 - check their website to confirm.)

All Hallows’ Eve delivers unmatched involvement in the overall haunt experience taking place in the midst of a 19th century Old West town.  Anchored by the haunted trail, there’s also food, drinks, games, live music, karaoke, saloons, shopping, horror movies, and much more entertainment throughout the night.  Admission includes access to all of the above, in addition to the firing of their cannon, Gatling gun, and even the above mentioned witch hanging!  Admission options range from entrance to the city only (no haunted trail) to upgrades that includes enhanced degrees of horror – Red (full participation) and Gold (blood and gore, but without excessive touching and torture) bracelets, and the new Blue Skull ticket, which takes things to the next level and beyond.

NOTE:  Rating is based on the "RED BRACELET EXPERIENCE"

Please Note:  Management advises wearing old clothes or even a poncho as you may get wet, dirty, muddy, “bloody,” or even worse at this attraction if participating in the Gold or Red Bracelet options.
